ALPHA
Join us for our Alpha Supper on Friday, 1st October
The Course starts on Wednesday 6th October @ 7pm
What is the meaning of life? What happens when we die? Is forgiveness possible? What relevance does Jesus have for our lives today?
The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, friendly manner over 10 thought-provoking weekly sessions.
There is a meal together at the beginning of each session which we eat in small groups, giving everyone an opportunity to get to know one another. This is followed by a talk and then by coffee and by a discussion in the small groups. Listen, explore, discuss and discover. Ask anything! Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile to be asked.
Alpha is for everyone, especially:
- Those wanting to investigate Christianity
- New Christians
St. George's Alpha starts on Wednesday 6th October @ 7pm, and runs for 10 weeks on Wednesday evenings - everyone is welcome. The course is launched with a supper on Friday 1st October @ 7pm in St. Georges, Holborn - please come and hear more about the course. As part of the course there will be a day away on Saturday 20th November - more information will be available closer to the time.
